Our Story
A Wombourne institution, kept the way a good pub should be.
Believed to be one of Wombourne's oldest pubs, The Red Lion has welcomed locals and travellers for generations. Behind the white-painted walls and the familiar lion sign, you'll find the same thing people have always come looking for — good company, honest food and a fire to sit beside.
We cook freshly, pour generously and look after everyone who walks through the door. Whether it's a family meal, a Sunday roast, a quiet pint after work or a celebration with friends, our promise is simple: great food, excellent drinks and a warm welcome every single time.
